Thanks for the Ideas, Pailin. And Xmas In Australia is a bit different as so Hot, and when I was young, long road trips o f over 1000Km to be with family.

Taught about cooking by my grandfather who was a man of many talents, including blacksmithing. So a v strong arm on the whisk. My scientist mum, had a v limited but good repertoire, which she still retains at age 93. One of hers a bit like yours; Lemon Curd Cake.

Just back from Chiang Mai and it's hard to believe Christmas isn't celebrated based on all the Christmas trees and decorations going up at so many shops, restaurants and even the condo where my Airbnb was!

Yes there's a big difference between "celebrate" and "decorate" lol. We LOOOOVE to decorate for every occasion, but trust me, most people are not having a Christmas feast at home, it's not even a day off, lol.
