As you have probably heard, my new cookbook SABAI has just come out. Leading up to the launch I gave many interviews, and I spoke many times that the book is beginner-friendly.
This made me wonder…if a Thai food novice bought my book and tried to cook from it, what would the experience be like? And how might it be different from when I cook it?
So in my latest video, I tried my best to simulate the experience! Starting all the way from selecting recipe, to shopping, to cooking. It's not possible to anticipate all the issues...but I did my best.
I chose No-Fry Sweet and Sour Pork as the recipe for this simulation, for reasons I describe in the video.
